Alarms and false alarms
The panel sends an alarm signal to the Monitoring Service (does not apply to smoke
detectors). The Monitoring Service will then respond as agreed with you. Typically, a
guard will be dispatched to your home.
If you arrive at the panel when the alarm condition is active - with a sounding siren
and the red LED flashes do the following:
1) Press the
key to display the activated sensors.
2) Then enter your user code. Services are now turned off and a’ clear’ message is
automatically sent to the Monitoring Service. The red LED will continue to flash until
the panel is reconnected or when you browse through the event log.
If you arrive at the panel with an active alarm condition and only the red LED
flashes, you must do the following:

If you have caused an alarm by mistake, it must be reported to the Monitoring
Service. This must be done immediately after you have caused the alarm:
1) You can cancel a false alarm simply by entering your user code.
This stops the siren and sends a message to the Monitoring Service if the alarm is
turned off by an authorized user.
