(2) DISPLAY indicator
The selected audio input can be seen on the display.
The volume level indicator is optically displayed once the volume has been adjusted. The display
will return to the previously selected audio input after a while.
(3) Infrared Remote Sensor
The remote sensor picks up the remote controls infrared signal. Always direct the remote
control towards the sensor when carrying out a function.
(4) PRESET EQ button
Press this button repeatedly to select one of the following sound settings:
Pop (green), Rock (red), Classic (orange) and FLAT (no color).
(5) VOLUME control dial
Use this dial to increase/decrease the volume.

The volume level will be optically illuminated on the front panel FUNCTION indicator when regu-
lating the volume. The display will return to the selected audio input feature shortly thereafter.
(6) EXTERNAL PROCESSOR button
Press this button to join an equalizer or signal processor connected to the EQ jacks into
the signal path.
(7) MIC LEVEL control dial
This control dial allows you to regulate the volume of the microphone previously
connected to the MIC jack.
(8) MIC jack
Use this jack to connect a dynamic microphone.
(9) PHONO button
Press this button to select a PHONO input mode.
(10) CD button
Press this button to select a CD input mode.
(11) AV1/AV2 button
Press this button to select either a AV1/AV2 input mode.
Press 1x > selects an AV1 mode > FUNCTION indicator will illuminate green.
Press 2x > selects an AV2 mode > FUNCTION indicator will illuminate red.
(12) TUNER button
Press this button to select a TUNER input mode.
(13) TAPE button
Press this button to select a TAPE input mode.
(14) TREBLE control dial
Use this control dial to regulate the sound’s tone. Turn the dial either to the right to
increase or to the left to decrease high-pitched tones.
