TROUBLE
HELP AND ADVICE
- internet cable is disconnected
- you might have set Menu/Settings/Other Settings/Standby display/Black
Display where set-top box display is unlit on purpose
- double check Menu/Settings/TV Outputs – if all selected options are in
compliance with connection of set-top box to your TV (depending on type
of your TV)
- check the connection of SCART cable (if you are connected via SCART
cable)
- volume is down or MUTE button on remote control of set-top box or TV is
pressed
- incorrect setting of TV Outputs on set-top box. Use front panel of set-top
box to correct it. Press M button on front panel and use up/down arrow to
select the correct type of connection of set-top box to your TV. Confirm it by
pressing the OK button on front panel – set-top box will restart.
- incorrect setting of TV Outputs on your TV (depending on type of your TV).
- channel list is downloaded automatically every 5 minuts or by unplugging
of set-top box from mains lead and plugging it in straight after
- double check if set-top box is connected to internet network
- it could be causing by connection of a router between set-top box and
internet cable – it is necessary to connect internet cable into set-top box
directly
- no remote control batteries in or remote control batteries exhausted
- front panel obstructed
– try to switch to another channel or restart set-top box by
unplugging/plugging in from/to mains lead
- check if internet cable was not for some reason interrupted or damaged
- restart set-top box
- check Menu/Settings/TV Outputs/Type of connection. Select SCART
CVBS or SCART S-video (depending on type of your TV)
- check if Menu/Settings/TV Outputs are correctly set (depending on type of
your TV)
– it could be causing by connection of a router between set-top box and
internet cable – it is necessary to connect internet cable into set-top box
directly
- check if diode on WAN port is lit (i fit is not, disconnect/connect internet
cable)
Set-top box display is OFF
Picture on the screen is OK
but there is no sound
No picture
Channel list is empty
No response to remote control
Picture freezes
Square blocks picture
Black&White picture at SCART
connection
Quality of Picture is not
satisfactory
Everything seems to be set
