Bulb and capillary type
Over Heat Warning
If the temperature gets too high, the Over Heat warning
light on the front panel will illuminate and the alarm will
sound. The heat will shut off and the blower will continue
to run.
High Temperature Thermostat
The thermostat interrupts power to the heater and
activates the alarm at a preset high temperature of
53° ± 3°C (127.4° ± 5.4°F) or less at the end of the hose,
as determined by the Model 221 Temperature Test Kit or
Model 22110 Temperature Test Unit.

Air temperatures reaching the patient are approximately
2°C lower than the listed temperatures.
