4 Getting to know your Barix Exstreamer

1 DSub9 male, serial port (RS-232)
This port is for a serial connection to your computer.
2 IR IN for Infrared-Receiver
3 IR OUT for Infrared-Transmitter
4 Red and green LED for status display
R e d - If the light is blinking, it means that the Barix
Exstreamer either lost connection to or can’t find the
zServer.
Green - If the light is static, it means that the Barix
Exstreamer found the zServer. If the light is blinking, it
means that the Barix Exstreamer is streaming.
5 Reset button
Press this button to restart the device. If you press it until
the red light flashes (about 5 seconds) the device settings
will be restored to the factory defaults.

This port is for the connection to your network.
B S/PDIF Coaxial digital OUT
C S/PDIF Optical digital OUT
D white RCA for left line output
E red RCA for right line output
Ports B to E are for connection to your home audio
equipment.
F Power in (center: +20 VDC, ring: Ground)
This port is for connection to the power supply
(Only provided power supply should be used)
G Speaker out (detachable screw block)
Speaker left +, left -, right -, right +
(use wire up to 16AWG / 1.6mm²)
