5.3 Instructions for use
•
When using for the first time, allow the mini-refrigerator to reach the desired tempera-
ture before you put bottles and cans in. This will take on the average 2 to 3 hours.
•
The temperature can be adjusted using the thermostatic control. In general it can be
said that a medium setting is most suitable for normal use.
•
The more filled bottles or cans there are in the mini-refrigerator, the longer the door is
opened, the higher therefore the energy consumption and the higher the resulting
defects.
•
In order to cool effectively the door should never be opened for a long time.
Furthermore, the door should not be opened too often.
•
In case of a sudden power breakdown the door should not be opened in order to
minimize the loss of cool air.
•
The mini-refrigerator should never be longer than 10 minutes without a supply of energy.
•
After pulling the power pug or a power breakdown the device should not be connected
to any power source for at least 5 minutes.
Keep food in the refrigerator
•
Leave sufficient space between the objects in the miniature refrigerator to ensure
effective cool air circulation.
•
Wipe off any kind of water and use sealed plastic bags or containers to protect the
food from drying up and prevent changes in the flavour.
•
Hot food should be left to cool down before placing it in the refrigerator; otherwise
the energy consumption increases.
