5.2 Operation
The soup kettle consists of a warmed outer pot with a thermostat, removable inner pot
and a ring handle put onto outer pot as its upper part. The device is provided with a high
quality steel cover with two thermally insulated handles. The cover has hinges and a
spoon slot.
The hinged cover can be set in two different positions:
Closed: for fast and energy saving cooking
Open from one side:
for filling and food serving
The soup kettle warms the food in a water bath. The food is kept warm by electrically
warmed water.
1. Clean and rinse thoroughly the inner pot, carrying ring handle and cover before
first use. Dry well.
2. Fill the outer pot with approx. 1 litre of water.
WARNING!
Do not turn on and/or allow an empty or dry soup kettle
to warm up. Never fill the outer pot with more than 1 litre
of water since water may spill over while inserting the
inner pot.
NOTE!
In order to shorten the warming time the kettle may be filled with already hot
water. When using cold water it has to be warmed longer.
3. Fill the inner pot with desired food.
It can be filled up only to the upper
marked level of the pot.
4. Put the inner pot inside carrying ring
handle and pull the ring handle up so
as to insert the inner pot into the outer
pot by carrying it with the ring handle.
5. Put the cover on the soup kettle.
6. Plug the soup kettle into a grounded
type single socket.
