The 2 modulators (designated 1 and 2) are independent and have separate audio and S-Video
inputs corresponding to the modulator selected on the front panel. You may use either or both
modulators as needed.
4. HARDWARE
CONNECTIONS
a. Connect an S-Video cable from the video source to the S-Video Input on the
CTARM-2SV. An optional Cabletronix SVHS S-Video cable may be used.
b. Connect an RCA cable from the audio source to the red/white RCA Input jacks on the
CTARM-2SV. Use red and white jacks for dual input, or either one for single input.
c. If you want to combine your signal with an Off-Air or CATV signal, connect the coaxial
cable from the Off-Air antenna or CATV to the Antenna Input.
d. Connect a coaxial cable from the RF Output to the RF distribution system or directly to
a television set.
5. CHANNEL
SELECTION
a. Use the Modulator Selection Button on the front panel to select modulator 1 or 2.
b. Push the Up/Down Switch to set the desired channel. You can select either CATV
compatible channels or Off-Air compatible channels by pushing the CATV/Off-Air
Switch. After about 15 seconds the channel will be automatically stored in the
modulator’s memory. In the event of a power outage the channel will not be lost.
