CamRanger PT Hub & MP-‐360 Quick Start Guide

To use the CamRanger PT Hub and Motorized tripod, a CamRanger is required.
•
Make sure the CamRanger is registered, the firmware is updated to version 6 (and up), and the
CamRanger app (on the iPhone, iPad, Android device, Mac, or Windows computer) is updated to
the most recent version. To update firmware go to: www.CamRanger.com/downloads.
•
The CamRanger must be registered (see CamRanger user manual), the CamRanger PT Hub does
not require registration.

Required parts:

CamRanger*
o
CamRanger PT Hub
o
Motorized tripod (either the MP-‐360, MP101, Bescor, or Hague)*
o
USB cable (included with CamRanger or camera)
o
Serial connector (included with the CamRanger PT Hub)
o
USB 2.0 A to B connector (included with CamRanger PT Hub)
o
Camera*
o
Device* (iPhone, iPad, Android device, Mac, or Windows computer)
* Requires charged battery or connection to AC power

Note that the Camera -‐ CamRanger hardware connection is different when using the CamRanger PT Hub
and motorized tripod head. Refer to the “Hardware Setup” of this manual for connection instructions.
