The wristwatch is intended for displaying the time and date.
The watch may only be powered by a battery (for the type, refer to “Technical data”).
Any use other than that described above could lead to this product being damaged
and involves the risk of short-circuiting, fire, electric shock, etc.
No part of the product may be modified or converted.
The safety instructions must be observed at all times.

Pull the crown (B) into position 2 and set the current time by turning the crown
(B). The second hand stops, in order to allow the seconds to be set correctly.

Pull the crown (B) into position 1 and set the date display (A) by turning the
crown (B) counter-clockwise. If the date is set between 21:00 and 1:00 hours, the
date may not change on the following day.

Press the crown (B) back to its normal position again.
battEry notEs

Keep batteries out of reach of children.

Do not leave batteries lying around in the open; there is a risk of them being
swallowed by children or domestic animals. If they are swallowed, consult a doc-
tor immediately.

Leaking or damaged batteries in contact with the skin can cause acid burns,
therefore, use suitable protective gloves.

Batteries must not be short-circuited, opened or thrown into a fire. There is a risk
of explosion!

Do not recharge normal, non-rechargeable batteries; risk of explosion! Only re-
charge rechargeable batteries that are intended for this purpose; use a suitable
battery charger.

Check that the polarity is correct when inserting the batteries (pay attention to
plus/+ and minus/-).
changing thE battEry

If the watch stops, the battery needs to be replaced.
-
Replacing the battery should be done by a specialist, using special clockmaker
tools and professional knowledge.

For battery replacement, the watch housing has to be opened.
-
The battery can then be removed from its holder and replaced.
watEr and shock rEsistancE
In normal use, the wristwatch is protected against impacts. Nevertheless, do not
expose it to extreme shocks such as might occur if it falls onto a hard surface. This
could damage the clock mechanism.
The indication 3 ATM indicates that the watch is suitably protected against hand
washing, washing the car as well as splashes and sweat.
This is not a diver’s watch.
maintEnancE and clEaning
To clean the watch, a dry, soft, clean cloth is sufficient. For heavier soiling of the
exterior, you can moisten the cloth slightly with lukewarm water.
Clean the watch very carefully; otherwise you may scratch it.
Do not press too heavily on the glass cover, as this can lead to breakage.
disPosal
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable material and must not be disposed of in
the household waste!
Please dispose of the product, when it is no longer of use, according to the
current statutory requirements.
b) batteries and rechargeable batteries
As the end user, you are required by law (Battery regulation) to return used batter-
ies. Do not dispose of used batteries in the household waste!
Batteries/rechargeable batteries containing hazardous substances are la-
belled with the symbol shown to indicate that disposal in household waste is
forbidden. The symbols of the critical heavy metals are: Cd=cadmium,
Hg=mercury, Pb=lead (marking can be seen on the battery/rechargeable
battery, e.g. underneath the refuse bin symbol shown on the left).
You can return used (rechargeable) batteries free of charge at the official
collection points in your municipality, our stores, or wherever (rechargeable)
batteries are sold!
You thereby fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the
environment.
