SCREEN ADJUSTMENT
Thepicturesurfacedrop,andtheopeningandclosingofthefabricdoor,arecontrolledautomaticallybylimitswitches
whichhavebeenpresetatDa-Lite.Whenthepicturesurfaceismovingupward,itiscontrolledbyalimitswitchthatshuts
offwhenthedoorcloses.Toadjustformoreorlesspicturedrop(viewingarea),proceedinthefollowingmanner:
SCREEN UNROLLED IN “DOWN” OR “BOTTOM” POSITION.
NOTE: Limit switch knob labeled DOWN controls point of picture surface in bottom position. Limit switch knob labeled DOOR con-
trols the synchronization of the door opening or closing. Do not adjust!
MORE SCREEN DROP
1. Placeoperatingswitchin“down”position.
2. Whenthescreenstops,turnthe“down”limitknoboneturnatatime
clockwise,untilthedesiredpicturesurfacepositionisattained.Test
byraisingpicturesurfaceapproximatelytwofeet,thenloweragain.
Repeatuntildesiredpicturesurfacepositionisattained.
CAUTION! WHEN PICTURE SURFACE IS IN “BOTTOM” POSITION, DO NOT
ADJUST FOR MORE THAN 3" OF ADDITIONAL DROP. DO NOT ALLOW ANY
PART OF THE ROLLER TO BECOME EXPOSED.
LESS SCREEN DROP
1. Raisepicturesurfaceapproximatelytwofeetabovedesiredlevel.
2. Placeoperatingswitchin“off”position.
3. Turnthe“down”limitknoboneturnatatimecounter-clockwise.
4. Placeoperatingswitchin“down”position.Repeatsteps2and3untildesiredpositionisattained.

ACCESS DOOR INSTALLATION
1. Pressswitch“down”sothatfabricdooropens(Fig.3).
2. Removescrews(2)locatedoneachbumperbracket.
NOTE: The access door is slotted on one edge, permitting the grooved section to fit over the support clips on inside of case.
3. Placeaccesspanelsogroovecanbepushedoverclips.Holesinaccesspanelbracketsshouldalignwithbumper
bracketholes.
4. Replacescrews.
5. Makesurethereisapproximately

"clearancearoundaccessdoor.Keeppaint,plaster,tileormasticoutofhinge.
Fitaccesspanelsoitcanberemovedformaintenance.
6. Installelectricalhookupthatappliestoyourunit.Unitshouldbeinstalledbyaqualifiedelectrician.
NOTE: Must be installed in accordance with the requirements of the Local Building Codes, the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC),
CAN/CSA C22.1 and the National Electric Code (NEC), NFPA 70.
7.Testinstallationbycarefullyrunningpicturesurface“up”and“down”severaltimes.Bepreparedtostopscreen.
8. Makesurepicturesurface,whenrolleddown,hasafullwraparoundroller.Nopartofrollershouldbeexposed.
Fabricdoorandpicturesurfacewilldropsimultaneouslywhenswitchispressed“down”.Doorwillclose
simultaneouslywithpicturesurfaceaspicturesurfacerollsintocase.
