Front Panel Functions
1. Input Jack- High impedance input to the amplifier. Plug in your instrument here.
2. Bright Switch- This switch provides an extra boost to the high-frequency range.
3. Volume- Adjusts the loudness of the amplifier, from quiet and clean at counter-clockwise, to
loud with a nice phat overdrive at full clockwise setting.
4. Bass Control- Adjusts the bass response. In the full counter-clockwise position, low frequencies
are cut. In the full clockwise position, low frequencies are allowed to pass to the next gain stage. To
retain clarity, turn the Bass down at higher volumes.
5. Treble Control- Adjusts the high frequency response. In the full counter-clockwise position, high
frequencies are bypassed to ground. In the full clockwise position, high frequencies are allowed to
pass to the input gain stage.
6. Reverb Volume- Controls the amount of reverb from none at counter-clockwise to deep and
lush when turned to the full clockwise setting. Please note that the reverb section on the Band-
mate 15 can run independently from the preamp section, and therefore can be used on it's own as
just a reverb unit.
7. Reverb Tone- Adjusts the 'colour' of the reverb, from dark to bright by bypassing specific
frequencies.
8. Indicator Lamp- This lamp will illuminate when the power switch is in the “up” position, indica-
ting the unit is receiving A/C power
9. Stand-by Switch- Should be in the “Off” or “stand-by” position when you apply power to the
unit. After a few seconds, place the switch in the “On” position to use the amplifier. You may leave
the unit “powered up” and place this switch in the “stand-by” position to mute the output.
10. Power Switch- Turns power on.
