IV. Operating Guide to Laminator
1. When laminating machine arrives in place, you should check if it is damaged
or not and there is any missing parts.
2. Before connecting to the main power, you should pay attention that the
power indicated on the laminating machine should be the same as the power
supply
3. Machine operating: first you should select the direction of roller rotation,
putting down the upper switch of selecting direction is positive turning, the
bottom switch is negative. Putting down the upper stopping switch is opening,
the bottom switch is stopping.
If you want to change the direction of roller turning, first you should stop the
machine, change the switch of selecting direction then you can start the
machine again. This avoids damaging the machine because of changing the
direction of the motor.
4. Adjusting the machine’s speed: counterclockwise rotate the switch of
adjusting speed is slowing down, clockwise rotation is increasing speed.
5. The sequence of cutting power is opposite to putting through the power.
6. All feeding and collecting roller can load and unload as a whole. There is
knob on one end of roller (Figure 1), which adjusts the friction to ensure that
the speed of receiving back paper is synchronized to the speed of laminating, to
ensure the quality of laminating. Clockwise rotating the handle is to increase
the damping, counterclockwise rotating reduces damping.
7. Both sides of the handle are for the rollers lifting. Rotating the handle in
clockwise direction descend the roller. Rotating the handle in counter-clockwise
lifts roller. If you rotate the roller clockwise, you will find the torque decreases
when the top roller comes into contact with the bottom roller. This is called
“space position”. The weight of the roller presses evenly on the bottom roller.
This time you can start lamination. When lifting the rollers, the handle of both
sides should rotate consistently to ensure the up roller level, or else it will
damage the parts.
