Line Array speakers are gaining popularity in both portable and
permanently installed PA systems, due to their unique shape and sound
dispersion characteristics. By arranging multiple drivers in a vertical line, a line
array speaker produces a very focused and predictable coverage pattern. Our
LA4 speakers produce a wide horizontal dispersion, providing good coverage for
a large audience. The vertical dispersion is very narrow, which improves clarity
by keeping the sound from bouncing off of floors and ceilings. Line arrays are an
excellent choice for taming a highly reverberant room, such as a church or large
arena. Our LA4 speakers feature a lightweight attractive cabinet, pole or
permanent mounting options, and are available in powered or unpowered
versions. This user's guide covers the following versions of the Galaxy Audio Line
Array speakers:
LA4:
Unpowered, 16 ohm, Pole Mount.
LA4PM:
Unpowered, 70volt, Permanent Mount.
