Gardenline 69834 User Manual And Assembly Instructions - Caution
CAUTION
Only use firelighters complying with EN 1860-3.
• Use odor-neutral firelighters.
• For American barbecue and smoking: do not use lighter fluids, lighter gels and lighters containing paraffin.
• Let the firelighters burn through completely before starting to cook in the smoker barbecue.
MAINTENANCE
• Ensure the barbecue has completely cooled down and the charcoal is extinguished.
• Remove charcoal grid and food grill.
• Remove the ashes.
• Clean your barbecue with a mild detergent and water.
• Rinse well and wipe dry.
• Do not use any abrasive products, as these may scratch the paint on your barbecue.
• It is not necessary to wash the food grill after every use. You can simply remove residues with a barbecue brush or
crumpled aluminum foil, and wipe the food grill clean with kitchen paper.
• If you need to wash the food grill, put it together with the cooking accessories in hot soapy water, when it is completely
cool, as soon as possible after use. Remove food residues with a brush or kitchen cloth, and rinse with clean water.
• Every time you have been smoking or preparing American Barbecue the chambers will acquire a smoky aroma. If the
interior parts are untouched by the food, they do not have to be cleaned and will thus keep their aroma.
• Store the barbecue in a cool dry place. Ensure it is clean and dry, and all ash and unused charcoal are removed before storage.
• Protect the barbecue from severe weather conditions. When not in use and if kept outside, you should store the pro-
duct under a weather proof cover. Because most barbecue covers are not breathable, you should remove the cover
periodically to let the moisture out. Only cover the barbecue when it has completely cooled down.
