The Intelligent
Oil
Monitoring System
Easy step-by-step user guide.
Thank you for selecting i-Track as your intelligent monitoring system.
Keeping an eye on your oil consumption has never been easier with the help of the
new i-Track wireless oil monitoring system. This device will help to show the end
user just how much oil they use/waste in their homes and highlight the money they
can save as a result.
i-Track monitors the volume of fuel in tanks and for the FIRST time gives an
accurate measurement of the average usage. By adjusting the thermostat and
turning radiators up and down in certain areas of the home, i-Track lets consumers
know if they have made a difference to the amount of oil they have consumed and
how much it has SAVED them. It will also let them know how much harmful CO
2
emissions the home is producing.
By having this device the user can save money by monitoring the changes they make to
their home when adjustments are made to the thermostat.
To ensure that you receive the maximum out of your product, please observe the
following instructions:

Display unit – remove batteries before cleaning and clean using a damp cloth (water).
Do not use any cleaning agents, aerosols or liquids
•
Outdoor unit – wipe down using a damp cloth (water)
•
Do not scratch hard or abrasive objects against the display unit as this may cause

•
Do not leave discharged batteries in either of the units for any length of time as they
may leak and cause corrosion.
uSnd -
The “uSnd” notification signals that the ultrasound was unable to
take a successful reading for the last 30 minutes (or since the remote
unit was powered up). While the notification is active the base will
continue to report the last good reading but will show that it is
uncertain by the flashing segment in the bar graph.
rEnt -
Or “REMOTE” notification. This signals that the base has not spoken
to the remote unit in the last 4 hours (or since the base unit has been
powered up). After the remote has been missing for just an hour the
base will enter a scanning mode on its own (indicated by the green
LED flashing) for just over 30 minutes to try and recover the unit. It
enters scanning mode again after an hour, then after 2, 4 and 8 hours
and continues to scan every 8 hours until it recovers the unit.
Low Battery -
If the battery in the base is low the battery icon will flash on the
display on all screens except the Remote Diagnostics.

rBAt -
If the battery in the remote unit is low the “rBAt” notification will
flash on the screen and the battery icon will flash on the Remote
Diagnostics screen. At extreme temperatures (below -10°C) the lithium
battery in the remote unit must work harder in order to deliver the
power required to operate the device properly. As the battery ages
this may cause the device to report a low voltage condition earlier
than it would under moderate temperatures.
tIME -
The “tiME” notification indicates that the correct time cannot be
recovered. Normally if the base resets, when it comes back online it
will recover the time from the remote unit when it next communicates
(this may take up to an hour to occur). If the remote unit has also reset
during this period it will not be possible to recover the time and after
the base has communicated with the remote and discovered this fact
it will present this notification.
Lo -
When the Litres / Percentage remaining and Days to Empty screen
show “Lo” it indicates that there is less than 5 days of fuel remaining.
E -
“E” indicates when the system believes that the tank is empty.
FuLL -
If the fuel is closer than 150mm to the remote unit then the percentage
and volume screens will just show “FuLL”.
FiLL -
This indicates that the fuel level in the tank has increased rapidly
and a Fill has occurred. You can accept this through entering the
Events Screen by pressing the
ENTER & BACK buttons together
until it appears.
LoSS -
This indicates that the fuel level in your tank has dropped rapidly
and a Loss has occurred. You can accept this through entering the
Events Screen by pressing the
ENTER & BACK buttons together
until it appears.
