Put the Headset on and select a
telephone compatibility setting
until dial tone is clear. If dial tone
is clear for both A and G, set to A.
Most phones will require setting A or G.

Remove the handset and make a call.
While switching between the Headset
and Handset, adjust the transmit
(microphone) setting until your voice
is the same volume on both devices
(1 is the softest, 8 is the loudest).
Disconnect the optional Remote Handset Lifter
from the Base while setting the volume.

Use the Remote Beltpack to adjust
the receive (speaker) volume. If
your telephone has volume control,
set it at low to mid-range.

To customize the receive tone,
adjust the 3-position switch.
Top: Increase Treble
Mid: Neutral
Bottom: Increase Bass
To roam up to 150 ft. (45 m)
from the Base, remove the Remote
from the Base Charger and clip it
to your belt. If you move out of
range, a tone sounds in your
headset every 10 seconds. Calls
are not disconnected when out of
range, but are, in effect, put on
hold. Move back into range to
re-establish communications.

Make sure the Mute is off.
When Mute is on, a tone sounds in the Headset
every 15 seconds.
Adjusting Remote Beltpack Ring Tone
Press the Headset/Handset Button on the Remote to put the system in Handset Mode (the indicator lights on the
Remote and Base are not illuminated). Simultaneously press the increase Volume Button (+) as well as the Mute
Button for 3 seconds and release. The Headset Mode Indicator light on the remote lights up indicating you are in Ring
Setting Mode. Use the Volume Control on the Remote to select one of the four available options: Maximum,
Medium, Minimum, Mute. Press + to increase the volume of the ring and press - to decrease or mute the ring
tone. Within 10 seconds, the setting will be stored and the Headset Mode Indicator light will go out.
