2. Once the charge/discharge has started, you can use the
small keys above each cell to monitor the charging status
of the individual battery.
Charging voltage (V)
Charging current (mA)
Charging time
Battery inside resistance (Celsius)
Battery capacity (mAh)
5. Charging current for AAA batteries
AAA batteries can’t, and shouldn’t, be charged at more than 500mA.
When setting the charging current the charger will automatically
halve the current for AAA batteries. This means that when you want
to charge your AAA batteries and set the charging current to eg
1000mA, the actual charging current will only be 500mA. So if you
want to charge your AAA batteries at say 300mA, you must set the
charging current to 600mA and so on. See schedule below:
Battery types:
Actual
charging
current
The chosen charging current (mA)
1000 900 800 700 600 500 400 300 200 100

NOTE:
The currents shown above are merely indicative. They will vary a
bit depending on how many batteries you charge at a time. Many
batteries in the charger will (approximately) halve the current as
shown above, whereas fewer batteries will give a slightly higher
charging current.

8. Care & Troubleshooting Tips
Children should only use this product under adult supervision.
• Clean the charger with a dry clean cloth. Keeping the metal con-
tacts clean will help maintain high performance.
• If the LCD screen does not light up, make sure that the unit is
properly plugged in. If the screen still fails to light up or flashes,
the charger may have a short circuit or the batteries may be de-
fective/improperly inserted.
• Correctly insert the batteries and avoid reversing the +/- pols.
• Unplug the charger when the batteries are fully charged.
• The charger is only intended for charging NiMH and NiCd bat-
teries. Charging other battery types may damage the charger,
cause explosions or personal injury and / or property damage.
• Incorrect use may result in electric shock.
• For indoor use only! Keep away from humid and hot places.
• Do not disassemble or reassemble the charger.
• Don’t mix batteries of different sizes and capacities.
• The charger should be placed in a horizontal position when
used.
• Batteries may contain hazardous materials, and may be non-
disposable. Please dispose of the batteries in a correct and safe
manner.
9. Caution
In case of emergency, please unplug the charger from the electric
socket and locate your nearest dealer. Emergency cases include:
• Smoke from the unit
• If the batteries change shape
• Liquid or material leakage
• Dropped and broken casing parts
10. Warning! Avoid electric shock
• To prevent electric shock or fire do not expose this product to rain
or moisture.
• This charger is for indoor use only.
• The charger is only intended for charging NiMH and NiCd batter-
ies. Charging other battery types may damage the charger, cause
explosions or personal injury and / or property damage.
• Always keep dry.
• Do not operate the charger if the plug is damaged.
• Never attempt to repair the charger or batteries yourself.
