model year keeps the eye focused on leading the pack with separate versions that offer both two- and four-wheel-drive capability, 

along with segment-leading capability in two critical areas — crawl mode and fuel economy. The impressive crawl ratio comes from an 

available world-class CVT 2L Continuously Variable Automatic Transaxle that lets drivers literally climb mountains. The Jeep vehicle 

leadership in 4x4 fuel economy translates into a 22/28 EPA estimate for city/hwy, respectively. The developments in 2012 to the 

Jeep Patriot range from retuned steering and suspension systems to integrated driver controls on the steering wheel and a more 

comfortable interior. The 2013 models continue on the track of constant improvements, with two exceptional engine choices and 

more than 30 available safety and security features. Little wonder that this perennial fleet favorite has been chosen as a Top Safety 

Pick by the IIHS for the last two years in a row.
