7.4 Battery information system
There is a display panel on the outer face of the battery
which includes five LEDs and a button with an LED (
Push
).
When you press the
Push
button, the LEDs light up. Infor-
mation about the battery and its charge state is provided
based on the number of LEDs that light up and the way in
which they light up.

* All 5 LEDs flash quickly: The battery is empty and is be-
ing switched off, or is overloaded.

If the battery is overloaded, it will switch back
on after a short idle period and can then be used
normally.

If the battery is empty, it will work once again
briefly following a short period of rejuvenation and
will then switch back off. It must now be charged.
** The 1st LED flashes quickly: A charging fault is present.

If this occurs, put the battery in the docking station
for a short period of time or insert the plug of the
charger into the battery. The charger performs a re-
adjustment. If the LED still flashes, take the battery
to your specialist cycle shop and have it checked.
