Kanguru Flash Drive Max Quick Start

The  Kanguru Wireless LAN Quick Start Guide                                                                                                         1 

Installation of the Kanguru Wireless LAN is dependent on the 

operating system. Please follow the instructions carefully to make 

sure you are taking the appropriate steps for your operating system. 

Windows 98 SE users must first install the Flash Driver (Steps 1 

to 3 below). All other users do not need to install the Flash 

Driver. 

Install the Flash Driver  

(Windows 98 SE Only) 

Step 1: Plug-in the Kanguru 

WLAN first and choose 

Search for the best driver 

for your device when the 

wizard begins, then click 

Next. 

Step 2: Uncheck the box CD-

ROM drive and check the 

box  Specify a location. 

Choose E:\KanguruWireless 

LAN\Flash Driver, where E is 

your CD-ROM drive letter. 

Click Next to continue. 

Step 3: The wizard will find the 

location of the driver to be: 

E:\KanguruWirelessLAN 

\FLASHD~5\USTORAGE.INF 

Click Next then Finish to 

complete the Flash Driver 

installation. 

Install the WLAN Driver / Utility 

A. Insert the installation CD into 

your CD-ROM drive. The setup 

program will start automatically.

B. Click Next to begin the setup.

C. Select the destination folder. 

To install to the default folder as 

shown on the right, click Next to 

continue.
