BATTERY INSTALLATION
1.
Open the Battery cover on the underside of the control.
2.
Insert 2x AAA batteries following the polarity as indicated in the compartment. Alkaline batteries
are recommended.
3.
Add the battery cover back to close until it is tight.
HEADPHONE JACK
This unit will accept stereo headphones with a 3.5mm plug. Before connecting the headphones set the
volume to minimum level as not to damage your ears or the headphones. Connect the headphones to
the headphones jack. The speakers will be automatically disconnected.
Warning:
Prolonged exposure to high sound levels may permanently damage your hearing. You may not hear
some warning sound while wearing these headphones.
VOLUME
Adjust the Volume control to the desired level.
LISTENING TO THE RADIO
1.
Slide the Function Switch to AM/FM.
2.
Slide the Power Switch to ON.
3.
Turn Tuning Knob to tune in desired radio station.
4.
To turn off Radio, slide the Power Switch to OFF position.
Note:
Whilst listening to the radio, the time or alarm cannot be set. To set the time or alarm, press the Time
Display Button first.
In radio mode, the radio frequency will appear in the LCD display. Press the Time Display Button. The
time will be displayed for about 2 minutes then revert back to radio frequency.
ANTENNAS
For better reception, FM wire antenna should be untied and fully stretched out.
CLOCK SETTING
Press and hold Time Set Button to set the clock. Press Hour Set Button or Min Set Button respectively
to set the correct time.
ALARM TIME SETTING
1.
Press and hold AL. SET button to set the Alarm time.
2.
Press Hour Set Button or Min Set Button respectively.
3.
Turn on the alarm function by pressing ALARM ON/OFF button till the alarm icon
appears.
4.
After setting the alarm to your desired time. Slide the Power Button to AUTO position to imple-
ment the Alarm function.
