Lo ading the Salt in to the Softener
Always use salt in tended for use with dish washers.
The salt container is located beneath the lower r ack and should be filled as follows:
Remove the lower bas ket and the n unscrew a nd remove the cap from the salt
conta iner.
If you are fil li ng the c ontainer for the fi rs t ti me ,fill 2/3 of i ts vol ume with wa ter.
Place the end of the funnel(suppl ie d) into the hole and introduc e about 2kg of
sa lt .It i s norm al for a smal l am ount of water to come out of the sal t contai ner

Adjusting Salt Consumption

nec es sary, rota te the ring i n the antic loc kw ise dire ction from the "-" Se tt ing
towa rd the "+" si gn, bas ed on the har dne ss of the w ate r bei ng us ed.It i s
recomme nde d that adjustments should be made i n acc ordance w ith the fo ll owing
schem a:

enough, the i ndica tor li ght may not bl ack out be fore the s alt ful ly diss ol ve .
If there a re s p il ls of the s alt, a soa k program c ould be run to wipe them out.
