ENSURE PROPER LIGHT OPERATION BEFORE RIDING THE MOTORCYCLE.
VISIBILITY IS A MAJOR CONCERN
FOR MOTORCYCLISTS. A LIGHTING
MALFUNCTION COULD RESULT IN
DEATH OR SERIOUS INJURY.
AFTER INSTALLING THE SEAT, PULL
UP ON IT TO ENSURE IT IS LOCKED
INTO PLACE. A LOOSE SEAT CAN
SHIFT AND CAUSE LOSS OF
CONTROL RESULTING IN SERIOUS
INJURY OR DEATH.
Do not secure the load equalizer to the
control module! Excess heat from the
load equalizer could damage the control
module.
Secure all wiring from the newly installed and/or from existing parts, away from
any moving parts, pinch points or extreme heat. Küryakyn WILL NOT issue a
warranty on any electrical component that fails due to pinched, crimped, broken,
abraded, melted or frayed wires.
PROCEDURE B:
Follow this procedure if the following statement is true:
• The bike is equipped with a Küryakyn Panacea Taillight system or with a Küryakyn Run-Turn-Brake
Controller and DOES NOT have a Can Bus system.
INSTALLATION:
If the bike is equipped with a Küryakyn Panacea Taillight System or Küryakyn Run-Turn-Brake Controller,
simply unplug and remove the existing load equalizer(s) and plug this load equalizer into either connector
on the module. (this load equalizer will compensate for front and rear L.E.D. turn signals),
ALL APPLICATIONS:
If, after the load equalizer is installed, the turn signals flash rapidly, you may need to synchronize the load
equalizer to the turn signal system. Do this by starting the motorcycle and turning either turn signal on for
5 flashes. Turn that signal off and turn on the other signal for 5 flashes. Turn the motorcycle off. Start the
motorcycle and verify the signals flash at the correct rate.

Do not secure the load equalizer to the control module! If possible, fasten the load
equalizer to a frame tube as the frame will help to dissipate heat. If that is not
possible, tuck the load equalizer into an area where it will not contact any heat
sensitive components.
