LIGHTING & REFUELLING
•This product is ONLY suitable for use with charcoal, untreated wood or logs.
•Prepare a stack of loosely crumpled newspaper and place on top of the fuel grate.
• Pile finely split dry firewood or kindling on top of the paper.
• To light the newspaper, use long safety matches or a long nosed lighter.
• Once sufficiently alight, add logs or larger pieces of untreated wood to the unit to increase the heat slowly.
• DO NOT overload with fuel, only one or two logs is sufficient.
• ALWAYS use heat resistant gloves when adding fuel as the unit will become very hot.
COOKING ON YOUR GRILL
• Add 0.5 kg of charcoal on top of the fuel grate and light according to the instructions.
• It is recommended that the unit be heated up and the fuel kept red hot for at least 30 minutes prior to first cooking on
the unit.
•Once the charcoal is completely coated in ash the product is at the optimum temperature for cooking.
•Using heat resistant gloves, place the grill (6) into the centre of the frame (8) using the supplied handle (7).
•If refueling is required, ALWAYS use heat resistant gloves and the supplied handle (7) to remove the grill as this will
be very hot.
•When finished DO NOT remove the grill until the unit has cooled completely.
TO USE AS A PIZZA FIREPIT
•Start the fire with a little kindling wood on the fuel grate (10), and then add one or two untreated logs. ONLY a small
fire is needed to cook a pizza.
•Using heat resistant gloves, insert the pizza stone (5) into the centre of the frame (8).
•Leave for approximately 10 minutes before cooking your pizza. This will allow the pizza stone (5) to heat up.
• DO NOT cook a pizza whilst flames touch the pizza stone (5), your pizza base will burn before the topping is cooked.
•Using heat resistant gloves and either a long metal slice or pizza paddle, carefully place your pizza on the pizza
stone (5) and place the lid (4) on top. Cooking time is approximately between 5 and 15 minutes.
•Check your pizza at regular intervals and once cooked remove the pizza using heat resistant gloves and a long
handle metal slice, or pizza paddle.
• ALWAYS ensure food is cooked thoroughly prior to consuming.
CLEANING
• The chrome cooking grill and pizza stone should be cleaned using a mild detergent. From first use the underside
and edges of the pizza stone will be coated with soot. This will be difficult to remove and should be expected. This
does not affect the use of the pizza stone.
