In the event that your LaCie FireWire PCI Card is not working correctly, please refer to the following checklist to find out
where the problem is coming from.

for details).
The Problem
Your system will not boot or start
properly.
The “1394 Bus Controller” does not
appear in the Device Manager.
Questions to Ask
Is the card properly installed?
Is the card properly installed?
If you are running Windows 98SE, did
you follow the correct driver installation
procedures?
Are you running Windows 95 or
Windows 98?
Possible Solutions
Double-check the installation procedure
and make sure that the card is fully
seated in the PCI slot. If this still does not
solve the problem, try installing the card
in another PCI slot.
