Place the chopping bowl on a level, sturdy and dry surface. Fit the blade onto the
pin inside the bowl. Take great care when handling the blade and always hold it
by the plastic spindle.
3.
Add food to the bowl, taking care not to exceed the MAX mark.
4.
Place the cover on the bowl. It should fit firmly in place. PLEASE NOTE: the
chopper will not work unless the cover is properly fitted.
5.
Place the power unit on the bowl. It should also click firmly into place. Plug in and
switch on the power unit at the mains socket.
6.
To begin chopping, take a firm hold of the bowl and press down the control button
on the power unit. The chopper will run for as long as the button is held down.
7.
To stop chopping simply release the control button. The blade will keep moving
for a few moments. Wait for it to stop completely before unplugging the chopper.
8.
Lift off the power unit and remove the cover by pressing the tabs towards the
centre.
9.
Carefully lift out the blade, then empty the bowl. If you prefer, fit the shaker lid
to the bowl, clicking it firmly into place, then sprinkle the ingredients as required.
To clean the chopper, see CARE AND CLEANING.
12.
Let cooked foods cool to room temperature before pureeing. Do not use the
chopper to blend liquids as they will overflow.
13.
Do not run the chopper for more than 60 seconds at a time. Let it rest for 5
minutes between uses.
14.
Using parts not supplied by the manufacturer may lead to electric shock, fire or
injury, and should be avoided.
15.
The chopper is not intended for use by children or infirm people unless they have
been adequately supervised by a responsible person to ensure they can use it
safely. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the chopper.
It must not be left unattended during use.
16.
Do not use the chopper if the power cord or plug show any signs of damage, or if
the appliance is dropped, damaged or working incorrectly. Call the helpline on
015394 88100 to arrange a repair by an authorised repairer, or a replacement.
Never try to repair the chopper yourself as this may cause electric shock.
USING YOUR MINI CHOPPER FOR THE FIRST TIME
Carefully unpack the chopper and remove any packaging. Wash the chopping bowl, bowl
cover, blade and shaker lid in warm soapy water, or place in the dishwasher. Rinse, then
dry. Please take great care when handling the blade; it is extremely sharp. The power
unit may be wiped with a damp cloth, then dried. CAUTION: never immerse the power
unit in water or any liquid.
CHOPPING
The Mini Chopper saves a great deal of time and effort when chopping foods such as
fruit, vegetables, fresh herbs, nuts and breadcrumbs. Small quantities of cooked fruit
and veg can also be pureed. Many ingredients will take just seconds to chop or puree
in this high-speed Mini Chopper.
For best results, cut food into small, even pieces before chopping. Let cooked foods
cool before pureeing. Take care not to overfill the chopping bowl and do not use the
chopper for longer than 60 seconds at a time. Let it rest for 5 minutes between uses.
PLEASE NOTE: the chopper should not be used to blend liquids or chop hard ingredients
such as coffee beans, ice cubes, nutmeg, spices or frozen food.
1.
Firstly, make sure the power unit is unplugged.
