TROUBLE SHOOTING Q & A
Most of the troubleshooting issues can be easily solved. The most common cases and
solutions are listed below. If the problem persists, please contact the LASER support team
for further assistance.
Problem

No picture, no audio.
The battery is totally
discharged.
Connect the unit to an external power
source to charge the battery.
The power cord is not
properly inserted into the
unit.
Check the power lead connection. When
using the in-car power connector, check if
the power is available at the socket.
The unit is not switched on.
Slide the power switch to the “ON” position.
The SD/MMC Card or USB
device is not properly
inserted.
Check the SD/MMC Card or USB device to
ensure it is properly inserted into unit.
In DVB-T mode, the
number of DVB-T
channels is not as
much as we
expected.
The number of available
channels is limited due to your
local reception. The available
channels can vary depending
on the area.
Perform an “Auto Search” to rescan all
channels when you are in a better reception
area. Otherwise connect the device to a wall
antenna socket via the MCX-IEC cable
The signal quality of some TV
channels is too low.
Use the external antenna to increase the
reception sensitivity. For indoor use, place
the antenna close to a window and place it
clear of obstructions.
Some TV channels are not
available.
Only locally broadcasted channels can be
viewed. They can differ depending on the
area you are in
In DVB-T mode, all of
the channels show
“no signal or random
mosaic tiles appear
on the display.”
