Front Panel Operation -
Front panel control is via a navigation style switch cluster. The cluster has up, down, left,
right and centre (standby) buttons.
1. Standby -
any other Leema components connected via LIPS will also be controlled.
2. PLAY/PAUSE - Pressing the top button once will start playback. Pressing a second time places the unit in PAUSE.
3. NEXT/PREV - Pressing the right & left buttons will select the next and previous track. Pressing the buttons before the disc is
playing will scroll the track number allowing fast access to higher numbered tracks.
4. SCAN - If the disc is already playing, pressing and holding the NEXT/PREV buttons for a few seconds, will enter high speed
SCAN forward and backwards. Pressing PLAY will cancel SCAN mode.
5. STOP - Pressing the lower button while the disc is playing, will stop the disc.
6. EJECT - If the disc is stopped, pressing and holding the bottom button will eject the disc.
7. DAC Input - If the disc is stopped, repeatedly pressing the bottom button will cycle through the DAC external inputs.
8. LIPS Modes - Pressing the left & right buttons simultaneously when in STOP will enter the LIPS mode editor. The LIPS modes
may then be selected by using the left or right buttons. After a few seconds, the editor will exit and the machine reverts to
normal operation. See LIPS for more details.
9. REPEAT Modes - Pressing the up & down buttons simultaneously when in STOP will enter the repeat editor. The repeat modes
may then be selected by using the up or down buttons. After a few seconds, the editor will exit and the machine reverts to
normal operation. The repeat options are: NORM - Normal Play, SHUF - Shuffle All, SRPT - Shuffle Repeat All, RDSC - Repeat Disc
and RSNG - Repeat Song.
The Standby button toggles Stream III between On and Standby. If a LIPS connection is used, the power status of
