Q: My computer has an internal microphone, will IceCam2 causes any
conflict?
A: No. IceCam2’s built-in microphone is USB Audio type, it will not cause any
conflict with your computer’s internal microphone. It is up to you to configure which
microphone for an application to use. Please refer to sections “Using IceCam2 under
MacOS X” and “Using IceCam2 under Windows XP(SP2) and Vista” for detail. You
can keep using internal microphone in all video conferencing and audio application
for consistence. Or compare it with IceCam2 for audio clarity and determine which
one best suits your application. Please note, if the audio does not work after all
things tried, you might need to configure Audio Input source from Sound in System
Preferences of MacOS X, or from Sounds and Audio Devices of Control Panel in
Windows XP and Vista.
Q: My IceCam2 video image is blurry. What can I do?
A: You may adjust the Focus by turning the “Focus adjust ring” on the iceCam2 to
make the image clear.
Q: Can I plug IceCam2 into a USB 1.1 port or keyboard’s USB
port?
A. No. IceCam2 will work only in USB 2.0 port. It also requires more power to work
than what a keyboard’s USB port can provide. You should plug IceCam2 into a
computer’s built-in USB 2.0 port or a AC powered USB 2.0 Hub.
Q: What other applications support IceCam2?
A: In Mac, PhotoBooth iStopMotion and Delicious Library are tested and support
IceCam2. As OS and software develop, the compatibility might change, please test
IceCam2 with your desired application to find out.
