Shutter release:
Use the shutter release in recording mode to take pictures
and to start and stop video recordings.
Microphone:
Converts sound waves into electronic signals when the
camera is in sound recording mode.
Flash:
If the surrounding area is too dark, the subject to be recorded is
illuminated.
Viewfinder:
Viewing and selecting the subject to be recorded. Use the
viewfinder when the surrounding area is too bright for the LCD display and to
save power.
Indicator for self-timer:
When the self-timer is activated, it flashes regularly
and flashes faster during the last two seconds.
Lens:
Optically transfers the images of the subject to be recorded onto the
CMOS sensor.
USB terminal:
Interface to the PC (universal serial bus), the camera
operates as a PC camera (WebCam) or mass storage via the interface, it is
also a DC input for a PC or AC adapter.
TV/Audio output:
Establishes a video/audio connection between the
camera and a TV. Headphones can also be connected.
Loudspeaker:
Plays voice recordings and key signals.
Operating status indicator:
This is constantly lit when the camera is
switched on. The indicator flashes when the photo capacitor is charging.
Mode switch:
Selects the operating mode (modes) recording, playback or
online mode
Direction buttons:
Can be used for selecting menu options or directly
selecting functions.
Strap eye:
For attaching a carrying strap.
Battery compartment:
For inserting and holding the batteries.
Menu button:
Opens and closes the menu.
SD/MMC card slot:
Slot for inserting the SD/MMC card.
On/off button:
For switching the camera on and off.
LCD display:
Shows images, videos, the menu and status symbols.
Tripod connector:
Secures the camera onto a tripod using a standard 1/4“
