Maintaining Your MBSL300
• Periodically check to make sure the wheel nuts are tight. To check the wheel’s nuts,
use a flat-head screwdriver to gently pry off the hubcap. Make sure the battery bracket
is securely in place and the plastic parts are not cracked or broken.
• Occasionally use a lightweight oil to lubricate moving parts such as wheels and the
steering linkages.
• Park the MBSL300 indoors or cover it with a tarp to protect it from wet weather.
• Keep the MBSL300 away from sources of heat, such as stoves and heaters. Plastic parts
may melt.
• ADULTS ONLY: Recharge the battery after each use. Recharge the battery at least
once a month when the MBSL300 is not being used. See pages 3-4 for instructions
about recharging the battery.
• DO NOT wash the MBSL300 with a hose. DO NOT wash the MBSL300 with soap and
water. DO NOT drive the MBSL300 in rainy or snowy weather. Water will damage the
motor, electric system and battery.
• Clean the MBSL300 with a soft, dry cloth. To restore shine to plastic parts, use a
non-wax furniture polish. DO NOT use car wax. DO NOT use abrasive cleaners.
• DO NOT drive the MBSL300 in loose dirt, sand or fine gravel, which could damage
moving parts, motors or the electric system.
