Qtx PAJ-12A Manual

Quick Set-Up Instructions: 

1.- Plug a IEC power cable from a wall power outlet, to the PAJ-12A. 

2.- Plug a Microphone into the “MIC” input (1a, 1b) with a 6.35mm or 

XLR connector.  

3.- Plug an auxiliary system (CD, DJ Mixer, MP3, DVD, etc) into the 

“LINE IN” input. 

4.- Turn on the speaker amplifier on by flicking the “Power” switch (9). A 

green LED will light up to indicate that is on. 

5.- Set the volume of the MIC and LINE IN inputs to “12 o’clock”. 

6.- Gradually increase the “MASTER” volume (3) until the desired 

loudness is reached. 

7.- Set TREBLE and BASS controls to equalise the sound.  

8.- A red LED will light up on the front of the speaker if the system 

detects an overload, or peak signal. In this case you must reduce the 

volume level of the MIC or LINE inputs, and /or the MASTER volume. 

Before using your new PAJ-12A powered speaker, please read this 

instruction manual to prevent any damage or personal injury. Keep 

it away in a safe place for future reference.  

NOTE: Before connecting the speaker to a power outlet, make sure the 

speaker amplifier is off and the controls are on the minimum level. Otherwise 

the speaker may be damaged when power is turned on. 

Caution  

Do not point a microphone towards the speaker, it can cause 

feedback to occur which can damage both the speaker and 

human ears.
