M. FIXED FRONT FOOTRESTS
1. Adjustment
a.
Remove mounting bolts (A) on the top of each extension tube.
b.
Make sure the inserts remain in place.
c.
Slide footrest tube into front frame tube to desired height.
d.
Line up holes and replace the bolt on the outside through frame, footrest and insert.
e.
Follow same procedure on opposite side.
f.
Align footrests to desired inward/outward rotational position and tighten firmly.
N. ANGLE ADJUSTABLE FOOTPLATES
1. Aluminum Angle Adjustable Footplate
a.
Loosen screws (B) that attach the footplate to the angle adjustment bracket found under the footplate
(not visible in illustration).
b.
Adjust footplate (B) to desired angular position.
c.
Re-tighten bolt (B).
O. PLATFORM FLIP-UP FOOTPLATE
1. Height Adjustment
a.
Loosen screws (D) that attach the round extension tubes( E) to the Fixed front Frame of the wheel-
chair.
b.
Adjust footplate assembly to desired height.
c.
Re-tighten the hardware.
P. BACKREST
1. Height Adjustment
a.
Remove nylon tie from backrest upholstery
b.
You will see the Backrest Height Adjust bolt on the inside of the frame. (F) Loosen and remove from
both sides of the frame.
c.
Adjust to the desired backrest height. (measured with chair unfolded, from top of seat sling to highest
point on Upholstery) and align threaded insert of back cane with the closest hole in frame.
d.
Insert bolt through frame and thread into the insert in back cane.
e.
Torque fasteners on both sides of chair.
f.
Insert nylon tie through upholstery grommet and frame tab. Tighten and cut off excess nylon tie.
NOTE–
Do not use the top angle adjustment hole for adjusting the back height.
NOTE–
Use a torque setting of 144 in-lbs. when adjusting backrest.
Q. ANGLE ADJUSTABLE BACKREST (Option)
1. Angle Adjustment
a.
Loosen button head screws (G) until the eccentric offset washer (H) moves freely.
b.
Adjust backrest to desired angle, aligning eccentric offset washer in slot.
c.
Tighten button head screws.
d.
Repeat for opposite side.
