Battery Notes:

display flash, replace the batteries.

ConnectthesuppliedACadapterbarrelplugintotheAC
9Vjackatthebackoftheunit,andplugtheadapterinto
astandardACoutlet.TheLCDbacklitdisplaylightsblue.
Install Backup Batteries
Backupbatteriesareforpoweroutagesonly.Settings
anddatamemorywillbelostifbothACisoutand
batteriesareremoved.
1.Openthebatterycover.
2.InstallthreeAAbatteries(notincluded)asindicated
bythepolaritysymbols(+and-)markedinside.
3.Replacethebatterycover.
Set Up the Remote Sensor

1.Slideopenthebatterycover.
2.InserttwoAAbatteries(not
included)inthebattery
compartmentmatchingthe
polaritysymbols(+and–)marked
inside.
3.Replacethebatterycover.
Place the Remote Sensor
Placethesensoronaflatsurfacewithin90feet(27.4m)
ofyourradio,inanopenareafreefromtreesorother
obstructions.
To mount the sensor on a wall:
1.Selectapositionthatisnothigher
than5feet(1.5m)onanoutdoor
wall.
2.Drillaholeattheposition.
3.Threadascrew(notincluded)into
theholeandletitextendslightly
fromthewall.
4.Fittheheadofthescrewintothe
keyholeslotofthesensor.

• When
and the readings flash in the radio’s OUTDOOR
display, replace the batteries in the sensor.

Theradiocalculatestheweatherforecastforthenext12
to24hours,anditdisplaysthecurrentindoor/outdoor
temperatureandhumidityreadings.
Whenyoupowerontheradio,waitforabout3minutes
toreceiveanoutdoorsignalfromtheremotesensor.
flashesuntilthesignalisreceived,thenitdisappears
