Connecting the Receiver’s LINE

connector (phono plug or XLR connector) on
the other end, available at your local
RadioShack store.

Connecting the Receiver’s MIC
Output to MIC Input
To connect the receiver’s microphone output

) to the microphone input or LINE input
of an amplifier, tape recorder, or mixing board,
use a shielded cable with a

mono phono plug on one end and the appropri-
ate connector (phono plug) on the other end,
available at your local RadioShack store.
1. Insert the cable’s mono plug into
HIGH Z

2. Connect the cable’s other end to the
appropriate component.
Follow the instructions in the owner’s manuals
for your other audio equipment to make all oth-
er connections.
SETTING THE CHANNEL
You can set your receiver to one of eight chan-
nels so you can use up to eight wireless micro-
phone systems on the same audio system.
1. Set the microphone(s) and the receiver to
off before setting the channels.
2. Follow the instructions in the microphone’s
owner’s manual to set the wireless micro-
phone’s channel.
3. Using the chart below, set
CHANNEL
(dip
switches) to the same channel as the
microphone’s.
USING THE MICROPHONE
RECEIVER
1. Turn on your amplifier, tape recorder, mix-
ing board, and other necessary compo-
nents of your audio system.
2. Set the components’ volume control (or
input level controls) to moderate settings.
3. Set the receiver’s
MIC VOLUME
to its mini-
mum setting.
4. Press
POWER
to turn on the receiver. The
POWER indicator lights.
5. Turn on the microphone. The receiver’s
SIGNAL STRENGTH indicator lights.
6. Talk into the microphone and adjust the
receiver’s
MIC VOLUME
to the desired
level.
