WhenINFRAREDTRANSMITTER(IRTX)is
selected,theunitsendsaninvisiblebeamto
bedetectedbythesecondunit,theINFRARED
RECEIVER(IRRX).Thebeamisnomorethan6

wideandsothetwounitsmustbealignedquiteaccurately.
WhentheswitchissettoSOUND,theunitutilisesitsintegralsensitivemicrophonetotransmit
asignaltotheMAINCONTROLUNIT.

detectsuddenincreasesinlightintensity,such
aslightning.Thisisdependentontheamount
ofambientlightandwillbefoundtobemost
accurateinlowlightordarksituations.
WhentheswitchisselectedtousetheINFRAREDSENSOR(IRRX)function,themoduleneeds
tobealignedaccuratelywiththeIRTXunitwithinthe6
