WI-FI CONNECTION
Connect MOVEit to your Wi-Fi network to control it through the “SACKit
Player” app. If you have more than one MOVEit Wi-Fi speaker, you will be
able to control the multi-room feature from the SACKit Player app. Please
note: Your phone/tablet and the MOVEit speaker must be connected to the
same Wi-Fi network.
Download the ”SACKit Player” app from App Store or Google Play – it’s
free.
First connection of MOVEit to a new Wi-Fi network
Follow the instructions in the SACKit Player app or use the following guide.
If you wish to connect more than one speaker to your Wi-Fi network at the
same time, please connect them one at a time. To connect the speakers to
your Wi-Fi network you need the Wi-Fi password. Please find your Wi-Fi
password before connecting.
1. Download the free “SACKit Player” app from App Store or Google Play
2. Connect your phone or tablet to the same Wi-Fi network that you wish
to connect the MOVEit speaker to
3. Turn on the MOVEit speaker by long pressing the “Power” button
4. When you have turned on the speaker, you will hear the warning
sound “Wi-Fi mode”. If the speaker unexpectedly issues the warning
sound “Bluetooth mode”, please change mode. Change mode by single
pressing the “Wi-Fi/Bluetooth” button
5. Go to your SACKit Player app. The app will automatically search for
available MOVEit speakers
6. Press Wi-Fi setup Wizard in the SACKit Player app
7. Choose the Wi-Fi network you wish to connect to and enter the
password for your Wi-Fi network. Press next in the SACKit Player app
8. Long press the “Wi-Fi/Bluetooth” button for 5 seconds until flashing
fast. When the button is flashing fast, the speaker is in pairing mode.
Press next in your SACKit Player app
9. Please wait while the speaker is connecting. This usually takes 60
seconds. When successfully connected, you will hear the warning
sound “Connected”.
If connection fails, please make sure:
1. 1That you have entered the correct password for your Wi-Fi network
2. That the MOVEit speaker and your device is fully charged
3. That you are within 2 meter range of your router when trying to
connect
If this is not the problem, please try to connecting though the alternative
way to setup:
Alternative way to setup – connect to Wi-Fi
You may experience disruptions of the network, which prevents MOVEit
from connecting to the network using the above set up. Try the set up again
or use the following alternative way to set up.
1. Click “Alternative way to set up” in your SACKit Player app
2. Go to the Wi-Fi settings of your phone or tablet
3. Choose the MOVEit speaker from available Wi-Fi networks
4. Return to the SACKit Player app
5. Choose the Wi-Fi network, you wish to connect to, and enter the Wi-Fi
password
6. When successfully connected, you will hear the warning sound
“Connected”
Using MOVEit after first connection to your Wi-Fi network
When MOVEit is successfully connected to your Wi-Fi network, you will
be able to control it from every smartphone or tablet connected to the
same Wi-Fi. All you need to do, is turn on the speaker(s), and you are ready
to enjoy the sweet tunes. Please note: You may have to wait up to 60
seconds while the SACKit Player app is searching for the MOVEit speakers
connected to your Wi-Fi.
