Agreement consists generally of all mechanical, electrical and electronic maintenance
work including that set out in a pre-defined maintenance schedule.

Operating Services

The operation of the Powerhouse shall be under the direction of the
Manager, Power and Water.

The Contractor shall be capable of operating individual pieces of
equipment and the facility as a whole, both manually, through
mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical means, and through existing
electronic or automation systems.

The operation of the facility shall include but not be limited to:

Starting and stopping;

Load point set adjustments;
.3
Isolation and return to service;
.4
When so directed by others, operations shall also include the
operation of Owner 22KV system breakers, through the
Powerhouse HMI.

Controlling Authority as defined by the Electrical Utility Safety
Authority (now IHSA) shall be assumed by the Manager, Power
and Water or their designate. The Contractor shall accept
Controlling Authority responsibilities for task specific situations,
when delegated by the Manager, Power and Water, or their
designate as part of their regular duties.

Standby
The Contractor shall provide 24 hour per day, 365 day per year standby
service. The Contractor shall be prepared to receive and respond
to calls from the Owner at all times. The Contractor shall respond
to any calls from the Owner within one-half hour when providing
Standby Services. The Owner reserves the right to cancel Standby
Services at any time during the execution of this contract.
Required Qualifications
In order to be considered qualified for consideration, Contractors must:
- Be currently engaged in hydro-electric generating station O&M activities of a
similar nature for similar sized facilities at the time of tender, AND
