5.3 Phonebook
You can save name, phone number, and other information in Phonebook.
Select
Add new contact
and press
Option -> Select
to choose storage and then add new contact. You can edit name, number, home number,
company number, email address, office number, fax number, birthday, caller picture, caller ringtone and caller group.
Tips
: The phone can save 500 entries at most. The SIM card storage capacity is different. Please contact your service provider for detail.
Select one contact and press

access the following options:
Quick Search:
select this option to get into phone book screen. There is an input space down the bottom of the screen
.
Input information
as searching criteria. The searching methods are English and Number. Press (# key) to switch between different input methods.
Search contact:
to search record according to names in the phone book.
Add New contact:
to add a new record into phone book. You can select to save in phone and to save in SIM card. The saving form is
slightly different.
Batch operations:
You can copy all number, delete number, import and export number.
T-CARD Phonebook:
Can store more contacts.( Will the phone export, just can view contacts.)
Caller Group:
this set provides 5 call groups for you. You can change the group name, ring tone, picture shown, or personal setting for
each group.

Preferred
storage
: select the prioritized place to save, SIM card, phone or all.
Speed dial
: You can set at most eight commonly used numbers as speed dial numbers.
Status
: turn on or off the function.
Set number
: set the numeric keyboard 2-9 correspond to a number. Hold the key to dial the number in idle mode.
My number
: edit owner’s name card.
vCard Version
: select the card version.
Extra numbers
: Editors SIM1 or SIM2 owner number.
Save contact notify
: turn on or off the function.
Memory
status
: view the memory status of SIM card and phone’s memory.
Caller picture:
select a picture to display when receiving a call.
Caller ringtone:
select a ring to play when receiving a call.
5.4 Message
Select ‘message’ menu enter submenu.
If network supports, and you have applied the service to the network supplier, through the message center, you can receive English, Hindi
SMS
and multimedia message.

Write message
Enter you message. The maximum number of characters allowed in a short message varies by service provider. If your message exceeds
the maximum number of characters, the phone will split the message.
Make sure that you have set the message center number rightly before writing message.
Press

access the following options:
Send by SIM1/SIM2
: send the message by SIM1 or SIM2. Enter the number or select form phonebook. You can select several
recipient and press
OK key
to send. Select the recipient and press
Left soft key
access the following options:
Send from SIM1/SIM2
: send the message to all recipients in the list.
Edit recipient
: edit the number of the recipient.
Remove recipient
: remove the recipient from the list.
Remove all recipients
: remove all recipients form the list.
Save to Drafts
: save the message to Drafts.
Input
method
: change the input method while editing.
Insert templates
: insert a message template.
Advanced
: insert number, name, or bookmark.
Save to Drafts
: save the message to Drafts.

Inbox
The menu will show as
SIM1 Inbox

SIM2 Inbox
. All the operations are same.
SIM1 Inbox
This folder stores all the messages you have received.
Select a message and press

to read it directly or press
