INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Take extra care when using the straightener as it can get very hot.
Plug in the unit.
Select the best temperature suitable for your own hair type – Use lower temperatures for
fine, bleached or damaged hair (1- 4), medium temperatures for normal, wavy hair (5 – 8)
and higher temperatures for thick, coarse hair (9-12).
Slide ON/OFF switch to on. The lights go on, indicating that the unit is heating up. The
red light will go off when the correct temperature has been reached.
To make styling easier you may choose to section hair with clips or hair bands (not
included in the pack)
For best results, spray the hair section with hairspray or heat protection spray, prior to
straightening.
Always start from the back of the neck, working over the sides and finish with the front
section. Always straighten the lower layers first.
Take a small section of hair at a time, pull it taut and holding the appliance with the other
hand , start at the roots and clamp the hair firmly between the plates.
Run the straightener through the entire length of the hair, slowly and steadily, from roots
to end, without stopping.
Repeat until the desired amount of straightening has been achieved.
Repeat the process all over the head, and when finished switch the unit off and unplug.
Allow the unit to cool down completely before storing away. Ensure that it is out of reach
of children and pets whilst cooling.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Ensure that the unit is unplugged and cool. Clean the outside of the handle with a slightly
damp cloth. Wipe the ceramic plates clean of any styling product build-up.
Avoid wrapping the cord around the unit as this will, in time, cause damage to the cord.
STYLING TIPS
The straightener is great for all types of hair, long or short, thick or thin. Even hair that is
normally very straight but quite thick and uncontrollable can be transformed into smooth,
sleek looking hair with little effort.
If you wish to curl the ends under or even outward, this can also be achieved. Once you begin to
use your straightener you will soon find the best application for your individual style.
