6. To stop the toasting process early, press the cancel button. DO NOT PULL UP ON
THE LEVER.
7. To toast frozen bread: Place the bread in the slots, select the desired browning
setting and press down on the lever until it locks into place. Press the Defrost button
immediately. The toaster will now defrost the bread and toast it to the desired setting
without stopping.
8. To reheat toast: Place the toast into the slots, press down on the lever until it locks
into place. Press the Reheat button immediately. The toaster will now reheat the
toast without additional toasting.
9. Should bread become stuck in the toaster, switch off the toaster at the electrical
outlet and remove the plug from the electrical socket. Carefully ease the bread out of
the toaster. DO NOT USE A KNIFE TO REMOVE THE TOAST
– this will damage
the element.
10. To clean out the Crumb tray, pull the crumb tray out of the toaster in a vertical line,
empty the tray and replace. Always replace the crumb tray before using the toaster.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
This appliance is for household use only and is not user-serviceable.
Do not open or change any parts by yourself. Please refer to a qualified electrical
service department or return to the supplier if servicing is necessary.
Always remember to unplug the unit from the electrical outlet when not in use and
before cleaning.
The body of the appliance should be cleaned with a damp cloth. Do not let water
enter the appliance.
To clean the interior of the toaster, unplug it from the electrical socket, turn the
toaster upside down and gently shake crumbs free.
Do not use bleach or other abrasive substance or solvents to clean your appliance
as it can be damaging to the finish.
Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid, or hold it under a running
tap to clean.
To remove stubborn spots/marks, wipe the surfaces with a cloth slightly dampened in
soapy water or mild non-abrasive cleaner. Rinse and dry a clean, dry, soft cloth.
