TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
POSSIBLE CAUSE/SOLUTIONS
Vibrations
• Place Cellar on a level surface
The door will not close properly
• The appliance is not level.
• The gasket is dirty.
• The racks are out of position.
Wine Cellar doesn’t have power
• Check if the Wine Cellar is plugged in.
• Check if there is power at the AC outlet by
checking the circuit breaker or fuse.
• Ensure that the outlet is not controlled by a
wall switch.
Fan runs constantly
• The room temperature is hotter than normal.
• The door is opened too often.
• The door is not closed completely.
• The door gasket does not seal properly.
Cellar interior temperature
• Room temperature is above 25°C (77°F)
does not seem correct
• Ensure that the cooling vents on the sides
and back of the Cellar are not obstructed.
• Unit is not designed to cool more than 18°C
(32°F) below the ambient temperature
• When first plugged in it can take up to 24
hours to reach the desired temperature.
There is a puddle of water
• The humidity in the room is too high. Either
under/around the base
try to lower the humidity or place the Wine
Cellar in another location.
Cellar is ON but not cooling
• Make sure that there are at least 3-5 bottles
in the unit.
• Allow at least 24 hours for the desired
internal temperature to be reached
• To achieve accurate temperature control,
the Cellar should not be operated in the
following locations:
- In direct sunlight
- In a room with poor air circulation, such
as a garage
- Near a heat producing appliance (dish
washer, oven, etc.).
- Plugged into an outlet shared with a
refrigerator

Built into a wall recess or niche; closet or
cabinet.
