Salus SPMV32 Instruction Manual - Three Way Valves
OPERATION
Three way valves
This type of three way motorised valve has port A normally
closed with no power to the valve. In this state, water can flow
from port AB to port B. When the electrical supply is activated,
the actuator motor overcomes the force of the internal spring
and closes port B.
This allows water to flow from port AB to port A. The valve is
kept in this position until the electrical supply is interrupted.
When the electrical supply is interrupted the internal spring
drives the valve back and closes port A. If power is activated on
both channels, the valve will sit in mid position and allow water
to flow through ports A and B.
Plug in and LED models
The plug in will help to connect and disconnect
the valve electrically in a easy way. (See picture)
The LEDs will show the position of the valve
in each moment.
• When CH is demanded, the CH LED will be ON.
• When HW is demanded, the HW LED will be ON.
• When CH and HW are demanded,
both LED will be on.
• When neither CH nor HW are demanded,
both LED will be OFF.
