5. LOCATING
• Place the speakers symmetrically to the listener at least one meter away.
• The MSS has a bas reflex port on the side panel, therefore it should be installed at the distance of
20-30 cm from a wall or other obstacle. The subwoofer emits non-directional sound, therefore it
can be located in any place of the room where it sounds the best.
• Place the speaker system far away from TV sets, as insignificant image distortion in supersen-
sitive monitors and TV sets is possible.

7. INSTALLATION AND OPERATION GUIDE
MS-906 Multimedia Speaker System can be
connected to virtually any audio source (see
connection diagram, Fig. 2).
• Before making any connections, make sure that
the MSS is unplugged. Connect the built-in audio
cables to the AUDIO OUTPUT L/R d jacks on the
rear panel of the subwoofer (see Fig. 2).
Note that the red RCA jack of the right
speaker should be connected to the red jack
of the subwoofer and the white RCA jack of
the left speaker – to the white jack of the
subwoofer
(AUDIO
OUTPUT
R/L).
The
correctness and reliability of the cable con-
nections directly affect the quality of sound.
• The mini-jack of the stereo signal cable should
be inserted into the AUDIO INPUT c jack of the subwoofer, and the other mini-jack of the cable
should be plugged into a Ø 3.5 mm LINE OUT port of the computer sound card or audio output of a
CD/MP3 player, as shown in the diagram (see Fig. 2).
Note. To connect the MSS to a DVD/VCD/CD-player or a TV it is necessary to use a mini-
jack (Ø 3.5 mm) to 2RCA stereo signal cable (not included) or a mini-jack (Ø 3.5 mm) to
2RCA adapter (not included).
• Plug the power cord f on the rear panel of the subwoofer into an outlet.
• Set the master volume level to the minimum by turning the VOLUME control knob a counter-
clockwise until it stops.
• Switch on the device (e, ON position).
• Turn on the audio source.
• Adjust the master volume level by turning the VOLUME control knob a. Turn the knob clockwise
to increase the volume level, and turn it counterclockwise to reduce the volume level.
