3 HOW TO USE
(1) ONE SIDE LAMINATION
LOADING THE FILM
Unpack the upper rods, Slide the adapter by film--- adapter---film onto the rods and fit the
adapter onto the paper core. Leave equal lengths of the rod out of each end. Use the guide to
position the roll of film then tighten the screw on the adapter to secure the roll film. Load the
rods on the laminator.
THREAD THE FILM
Read the threading card supplied with each TCC roll of film carefully. Do not mistake
the reinforcing bar for idler roller. Please pull the handle forward to release pressure on all the
rollers, then :
(1) Release and push the pole with cap on the Decurling–bar down to lowest position.(see
Fig.B—A point)
(2) Thread the film through between the upper & lower rollers to the Back-roller (C )
then
pass
over the rolling bar (D) finally. Make sure the film is perfectly aligned.
(3) Pull up the pole with cap on the Decurling–bar and knock on the rack. (see Fig.B—B point)
HEAT & SPEED ADJUSTMENT VersaLam-1300
1.Turn on the power switch, the digital screen display will show the previous temperature
setting .Please set the temperature to 100℃ (212℉) to start the heat process. By pressing
the “︿” or “﹀” key of the “TEMP/SET”, user can re-set the temperature. The lowest
temperature this machine can be set is 90℃ (194℉). The digital screen display will beep
showing the set temperature for 3 seconds. After that, it will show the actual machine
temperature.
2. Turn off the switch of “BOTTOM ROLLER HEATER” .
3. Press the “HOT’ key for heating once the temperature is set and the light will glow.
4. The machine will buzz/beep once it reaches 80℃(176℉) for at least 3 minutes. This is to
alert the user that machine will start running. You can stop the beeping sound by pressing the
“︿” or “﹀” key of temperature again.
5. Press the “︿” or “﹀” key of “MOTOR” to set the motor speed for lamination. The table
℃ below gives some common temperature/speed setting for typical uses.
