Cutlery should be placed in the cutlery basket with the han dles at the bottom. If the rack has side baskets , the
spoons should be loaded sep arately into the appropriate slots, especially long utensils should b e placed in the
horizontal position at the fron t of the uppe r basket as shown in the picture.
Do no t let any item extend th rough the bottom.

For personal safety a nd a top quality clea ning, place the silverware in the basket
maki ng sure that:
Th ey d o not nest to gether.
Si lverware is placed with the handles-d own .
Bu t place knives a nd other pote ntially dang erous ut ensils are placed handles-up.

We sug gest that you pla ce large item s and items that are the most diff icult to clean into the lower basket
such as : pots, pans, lids, ser ving dishes and bowls, as shown in the figure below.
It is preferable to place serving d ishes and lids on the side of the racks in order to a void blocking the rotation of the
top spray ar m.
Pots, serving bowls, etc, must alw ays be placed to p down.
Deep pots should be slan ted to allow water to flow out.
