Working with a (wired or wireless) headset system and the VGP30
Please refer to the diagram and connecting sequence below:
1) Connect the headset to the amplifier (wired systems only)
2) Connect the telephone handset to the headset amplifier.
3) Connect the headset amplifier output to the handset input of theVGP30 (RED circuit)
4) Connect the PHONE output of the VGP30 to the base of the desktop telephone (BLUE circuit
)
IMPORTANT REMARK:
It is possible to mute the microphone during a
conversation but adviseable to use the VGP30
playback for longer on-hold periods. During the
playback the microphone output is automatically
muted on the VGP30 so no further muting is
required.
