Operation:
•Carefully,lifttheantennaeintotheverticalposition.
•Connecttheincludedpowersupplytoasuitable240VAC~50Hz
mainsvoltageoutletandplugtheDCconnectorintotheDCPower
Inputontherearpanelofthereceiver(12VDC,1000mAminimum)
•Usingthesuppliedaudiocable,connecttheMIXOUTontherear
panelofthereceiverforbothaudiochannelstothemixer’saudio
lineinput.ThereceiveralsofeaturesbalancedXLRoutputs,
oneforeachchannel.
•Switchonthepowertothereceiver,checkingthedisplay
backlightilluminates.
•Openthebatterycompartmentonthetransmitter(Beltpack–
pressthecliponthefrontsideandpivottoopen.Handheld-un-
screwthelowerportion).Installtheappropriatebatteries(Handheld
-1x185003.7VLi-Ionrechargeabletype,Beltpack-2x1.5VAA
Alkaline
non-rechargeabletype)intothetransmitter,takingcaretoobserve
theorientationandpolarity.Onlyusehighqualitybatteries.Refit
thebatterycompartmentcovercarefully.
•Forbeltpacktransmitters,whenswitchedonthedisplayon
thetransmitterwillilluminate.Ifthedisplaydoesnotilluminateor
glowsdimly,thebatterieswillrequirereplacement.Forhandheld
transmitter’s,ashortpressisrequiredtopoweronormutethe
unit,alongpressisrequiredtoswitchoffthetransmitter.The
displayshouldilluminatewhenworkingfully,ifthedisplayis
flashingorisdim,thebatteriesmayrequirecharging.
•Adjustthevolumeonthefrontpanelofthereceiverforeach
ofthechannels.
•FollowtheIRSyncOperationfullytoensurethetransmittersare
linkedcorrectlytothereceiverunit.Failuretofollowthisfullywill
preventthemicrophonesystemfromoperatingcorrectly.
NOTE:
TheDM800Hsystemisshippedwithtwohandheldtransmitters.Thereceiver
inthissystemfeaturesadualchannelreceiverallowingbothhandheld
microphonestobeusedsimultaneously,anadditionalbeltpackkitmaybe
purchasedifrequiredtobeusedinplaceofthehandheldtransmitters.Each
receiverchannelinthissystemmayonlybeusedwithonetransmitteratany
onetime.Iftheuserattemptstopoweron,andusetwotransmitterswith
onereceiverthesystemwillmalfunctionandnotoperatecorrectlyasone
transmitterwillcutouttheRFRadiosignaltothesecondtransmitter.
