MODE:
MODE LED Lighting:
You’ll know what option you are using by how the LED light responds.
Each option on the MODE menu has its own lighting:
1. Recharge the battery: Connect the USB cord to the computer
and speaker USB ports.
2. ON/OFF switch beside the Mic outlet.
3. When battery is recharging the LED light coming from Mic
outlet will flash green and red.
4. You’ll get the maximum 2-3 hours using the FM Radio alone
followed by using the speaker with a computer or smartphone.
You’ll use slightly more battery power with the MicroSD Card
and the most with the Bluetooth option. Make sure the
Wave Tube Wireless is fully charged before using the Bluetooth
option.
1) LINE: Solid green light, no pulsing when connected directly to computer
or Smartphone.
2) READ: Steady blinking green when reading the MicroSD card.
3) FM radio: Steady blinking green light followed by pulsing light when
channel surfing.
4) Bluetooth: Rapid pulsing blue light when used as a wireless speaker.
Playing Music:
Choose to play music from a MicroSD card using the LINE option:
• Press MODE and cycle through to steady blinking green – LINE option.
There are four options available from the Mode menu:
1) Line: Use the Wavetube Wireless as a peripheral speaker with
your computer or smartphone.
2) Read: Play music from the MicroSD card.
3) FM Radio: Use the speaker as FM radio
4) Bluetooth: Connect to your computer/Smartphone/tablet for wireless
speaker option
Battery Life:
Play/Pause track / search FM radio
Volume - decrease / move back to previous track
Volume + increase / move to next track
• Press MODE to move to the RADIO option. The LED indicator will
blink green.
• To find available stations hold for a few seconds. The speaker
will start scanning through available stations while the LED green light
flashes in quick bursts as each channel is reached. You will hear each
station available. To choose a station found during the search, press
the button.
• Scan up and down the FM dial using the / buttons.
• Hold / for 3 seconds also decrease or increase
the volume.
If the speaker fails to get a radio signal, follow these steps:
Using as a speaker:
Connect to your computer or Smartphone and use the
Wave Tube Wireless as a peripheral speaker.
• Insert the MicroSD card, pressing slightly downwards to have the
card click into place. There will be a one second delay while the
speaker reads the card.
• Hold to decrease volume. Click to previous track.
• Hold to increase volume. Click to move to next track.
• Pause tracks using the button.
• To remove the MicroSD card, press on the top of the card to release
the spring.
Play radio:
Use the Wave Tube Wireless as a FM radio. The number of channels
you receive will depend on what is available in your area.
• Move to another FM channel by pressing and do another scan
for available stations.
• You may not be far enough up the dial. Keep pressing to
reach a station.
• Move the speaker away from other electronic devices using radio
waves (cellular phones, WiFi modems) to clear any interference.
• Remove any headphones connected to the device.
• Make sure you have chosen the proper MODE (slow, steady
green light flashing).
• Press MODE to move to the LINE option – solid green light.
• Connect the audio cable into the headset option on your
Smartphone or computer.
Bluetooth wireless option:
• Plug the other end of the audio/USB cable into the speaker USB
port (same port used for recharging the battery).
• Control the volume by holding down the /
keys or use the associated controls with your Smartphone/
computer/tablet.
• You will not be able to move through tracks with the Line option.
Track controls will be handle through your connected device.
• To activate click on MODE to move to the Bluetooth option.
You’ll hear a short, high-pitched beep and the LED light will switch
to blue when you’ve connected.
• Open the Bluetooth option on your device (computer, Smartphone,
tablet). Select Browse Device.
• The Wave Tube Wireless will show up as YTD speaker/Headset.
Click on Browse to synch up Bluetooth connection. The connection
screen will appear. Choose Use as Audio Device.
• Start playing music or video from your device and the sound will
be redirected to the Wave Tube Wireless
• Control the volume by holding down the /
keys or use the associated controls with your device.
• The Bluetooth option overrides the MicroSD card and you will
not be able to use this function until this wireless option has
been turned off. Turn off the Bluetooth option by pressing down
MODE or turn the Wave Tube Wireless off.
• The option will not function when Bluetooth is turned on.
You will not be able to use the or to shuffle
through tracks. These options must be accessed through your device.
• If playback becomes distorted or has static move the speaker
closer to the source. Other electronic devices may interfere
with the signal. The battery may also be getting low.
• Be sure the Wave Tube Wireless is fully charged or this option
may not work properly.
Get rid of the cables and connections and enjoy your music with the
Wave Tube Wireless option.
